A NSW man who allegedly hacked a government website and claimed to lead an international hackers' group was thoroughly vetted, his former employer says.
Federal police have charged a 24-year-old NSW man, whom they claim is the leader a computer group known as Lulzsec, with hacking offences.
Lulz Security gained notoriety in 2011 for hacking government and corporate websites “for fun”.
