Five alleged computer hackers in Britain, Ireland and the United States were charged Tuesday in high-profile cyberattacks after a leader of the group became an FBI informant.

The FBI may be having the "last lulz" today after arresting five top LulzSec members based on reports from one of the group's own.

Hacker group Anonymous claimed responsibility for hacking the CIA’s website on Friday, which was the latest attack by the group on a U.S. federal agency

The video seems to hold fast to the group’s public goal of using digital and online mediums to expose what they declare are government and corporate wrongs.

Lulz Security, the group that claims to have been behind the massive computer hacks suffered by Nintendo, Sony, some FBI affiliates and the U.S. Senate, has announced it is disbanding. Known primarily as Lulzsec, the group has been on what they are referring to as a “50-day cruise” of hacking everything it could, whether the sites were government, corporate or public-related.

Hacker group Lulz Security claims it has attacked the CIA’s website. The attack has not been verified but on its Twitter feed the group wrote: “Tango down – cia.gov – for the lulz”.
