strongSwan is a complete IPsec implementation for the Linux, Android, Maemo, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X operating systems. It interoperates with with most other IPsec-based VPN products via the IKEv2 or IKEv1 key exchange protocols. The focus of the strongSwan project is on strong authentication mechanisms using X.509 public key certificates and optional secure storage of private keys on smartcards through a standardized PKCS#11 interface.

A Sydney-based IT professional claiming to be a leader of an international hacking collective has been charged with hacking into a government website.
Federal police have charged a 24-year-old NSW man, whom they claim is the leader a computer group known as Lulzsec, with hacking offences.
The self-proclaimed leader of international hacking group Lulz Security has been arrested in Sydney by Australian Federal Police.
Lulz Security gained notoriety in 2011 for hacking government and corporate websites “for fun”.
The Federal Police say they have arrested the self-proclaimed leader of international hacking group Lulz Security, or LulzSec.
