Japan’s Sega Corp joined the rapidly growing club of video game companies whose computer systems have been hacked by cyber criminals, the company said on Friday.

Computer hackers who have hit the websites of the CIA, US Senate, Sony and others during a month-long rampage said Friday that they were staging the attacks for their own entertainment.

Lulz Security has issued an official communiqué explaining its hacking operations against various entities, including Sony, Bethesda, Eve Online, PBS, the FBI and CIA. read more
